We use 18mm thick tongue and grooved moisture resistant floor boards the dimensions of which equate to 2400 mm long by 600 mm wide, this roughly converts to 8 feet long by 2 feet wide.
This means that each board is roughly 1.5 square metres or roughly 16 square feet, this equates to 4 floorboards.
This is rarely enough to fully cover the floor area in most lofts but is enough to provide a platform for walking on and storage of items.
If you decide that you would like to have the rest of your floor area boarded, we can do this at the standard price of £24.99 per square metre including cross beam supporting joists that will raise up the platform of flooring in order to accommodate insulation below.
